Shamanic Opening Ceremonies are different from ordinary celebrations – they are more focused and often more formal, and I usually use invocations and strong intentions.
A ceremony to open or close an event is a wonderful way to bring a sense of the sacred into a space. It also allows people to take a moment to honour the land, the traditional custodians, their ancestors and the significant people in their lives.
Shamanic Ceremonies are a dynamic, powerful and creative way to bring people together to acknowledge and celebrate the importance of the event and also the power of community in these changing times.

Shamanic Fire Ceremonies
Through a Shamanic Fire Ceremony, you honour your lessons and old belief structures by placing them in the fire and turning them over to Spirit.
Fire allows for rapid transformation. It provides the avenue to let go of the old story and drama, to transform, to renew and to be reborn. By releasing these old patterns and beliefs into the fire, you heal deeply at the level of the soul without having to experience them at the literal and physical levels.
The Fire Ceremony is one of the core ceremonies in many medicine traditions.
A fire ceremony is typically held around the full or new moon of each month when the veils between the worlds are the thinnest. In the past, when the fire ceremony was taught, it was only done with a teacher for years and years before ever doing it alone.
Shamans now say that the earth and our civilization are in such great peril that the fire ceremony should be held by anyone who is willing to step in. The fire itself will become your teacher and will let you know immediately if your intention is pure.
Medicine Wheel Ceremony
A Medicine Wheel Ceremony is a drumming ceremony for acknowledging the seven directions of the earth (east, south, west, north, above, below and centre). By acknowledging the directions we acknowledge the connection that a space has with the world and universe around it.
We invite support and assistance for your life and also offer healing to the land and lives of the people who reside there. This process can “anchor” and align a space and make it feel more stable and more connected with the land and with Spirit.
